After a truly wonderful year in our cozy Mill Street location in downtown Ortonville, we’ve made a heartfelt decision to close our brick-and-mortar studio at the end of June.
But this isn’t goodbye, it’s a bold new beginning.
Over the past year, our on-the-go painting experiences at places like Abraham Ranch and Black Cat Beanery have taken off in ways we couldn’t have imagined. These traveling art events have brought us closer to our community, sparked new creativity, and reminded us of what we love most: connecting people through art, wherever they are. So we’re embracing this momentum and shifting our focus fully to mobile art events. That means more painting with goats on the farm, more latte/wine-fueled creativity at local cafés, more sunny afternoons making art in the park.
We’ll be rolling out new classes and pop-up events throughout the area, bringing fresh opportunities to get creative in unexpected places. Whether you’re looking for a girls’ night out, a family-friendly experience, a unique team-building session, or a birthday party, we’re ready to bring the magic of Oakwood Art Studio to you.
Please stay tuned right here and follow us on Facebook for event updates, locations, and class sign-ups.
Thank you for being part of our journey, and for proving that Oakwood Art Studio isn’t just a place, it’s a movement.
With gratitude and excitement,
Peter & Debbie
